The day before Easter we took Kylie to the local Easter Egg Hunt. They have different sections for the different age groups, so the little ones don't get trampled by larger children, just children of their own age. Kylie was excited at first and rushed out as soon as the horn blew. But as she saw all the other children converging on her, she got a little freaked out and refused to pick up any more eggs. She pouted for a short while until Jared showed her that there was candy in the eggs...after that she was a much happier child. Her picture with Jared and her eggs is before she found out there was candy in them...in her picture with me, she just found out about the candy and therefore decided to smile...gotta love my child. Next year hopefully will go a little better.
